New hope for kids with rare eye tumors: major trial tests drug and injection combo
NCT ID NCT07378657
Summary
This study aims to create a clear, step-by-step treatment plan for children and teenagers with orbital lymphatic malformations, which are non-cancerous growths around the eye. It will test the safety and effectiveness of a drug called sirolimus, often used alone or combined with injection therapy, to shrink these growths and relieve symptoms. Participants will be placed into different treatment groups based on the size, type, and severity of their condition.
