Can a drop of orange blossom oil help people with a stoma feel less isolated?
NCT ID NCT07195136
Summary
This study tested if putting orange blossom essential oil in a stoma bag helps reduce odor, improves how people adjust to living with a stoma, and reduces feelings of social isolation. It involved 60 adults with a permanent stoma who had no complications. Researchers compared outcomes between a group using the oil and a group that did not.
