Iron showdown: pills or IV for anemia in late pregnancy?

Summary

This study compares two ways to treat anemia in pregnant women after 34 weeks: starting with iron pills versus going straight to IV iron. About 128 women will take part to see which approach better raises hemoglobin levels before delivery. The goal is to find the safest and most effective treatment for both mother and baby.
