First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether a morphine pill (Actiskenan) works as well as a nasal spray (Sufentanil) for quickly treating severe pain in adults arriving at the emergency department. About 400 participants with intense pain (score 6 or higher) will receive one of the two treatments. The main goal is to see how much pain drops 30 minutes after treatment.
