New oral pill tested to stop Diabetes-Related vision loss

Summary
This study tested a new oral medication called RZ402 for diabetic macular edema (DME), a swelling in the back of the eye that can cause vision loss in people with diabetes. The goal was to see if taking the pill daily for 12 weeks was safe and could reduce the swelling better than a placebo. It involved 94 participants with mild to moderate eye changes from diabetes.
