NCT ID NCT06170242
Summary
This study tested if a new oral medication called EDP-323 could safely reduce Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in healthy adults. Researchers intentionally exposed 142 healthy volunteers to RSV and gave them either the drug or a placebo pill. The main goal was to see if the drug lowered the total amount of virus and improved symptoms compared to the dummy pill.
