New study aims to make needle sticks less scary for kids

Summary

This study will test three different oral medicine combinations given to children before surgery to see which one helps them feel less scared and more comfortable during the IV needle stick. About 135 children aged 4 to 12 having day surgery will take part. The goal is to find the best way to reduce fear and pain, making the experience easier for kids, parents, and doctors.
