Could a simple pill reverse hair loss in women? new trial aims to find out

Summary
This study tests whether a daily 1mg minoxidil pill works as well as the standard topical foam or solution for women with hormone-related hair loss. About 520 women will be randomly assigned to receive the pill, the topical treatment, or a placebo for up to 36 weeks. Researchers will measure hair density changes and monitor safety through regular check-ups and blood tests.
