Laser vs. light vs. steroid cream: new hope for chronic mouth sores
NCT ID NCT07278999
Summary
This study compares three treatments for painful, recurring mouth sores caused by oral lichen planus. Sixty adults will be randomly assigned to receive either a special low-level light therapy, a gentle laser treatment, or a standard steroid cream. Researchers will track which method best heals the sores, reduces pain, and prevents them from coming back over three months.
