Summary
This study aimed to understand the connection between oral lichen planus, a chronic inflammatory mouth condition, and autoimmune thyroid diseases like Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Researchers enrolled 150 participants to see how often these conditions occur together and if the severity of mouth symptoms is related to specific thyroid antibodies.
