Summary

This study tests an experimental oral tablet (HX9428) for wet age-related macular degeneration, a leading cause of vision loss. Researchers want to see if the pill is safe and can improve vision or reduce fluid buildup in the eye. About 198 adults aged 50–85 with active disease are being enrolled. The goal is to offer a more convenient treatment option than current eye injections.
