NCT ID NCT07491848
First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at the link between gum disease and hepatitis B+D, a serious liver infection. Researchers will measure signs of inflammation in saliva and gum fluid from three groups: people with hepatitis B+D taking the drug bulevirtide, those not taking it, and healthy volunteers. The goal is to understand how gum health and hepatitis infection affect each other, and whether bulevirtide has any impact on oral inflammation.
