New pill aims to fight genetic hair loss
NCT ID NCT06527365
Summary
This study is testing an investigational oral tablet called VDPHL01 to see if it is safe and effective for treating genetic hair loss (pattern baldness) in men and women. About 70 participants will take the pill daily for one year while researchers track changes in hair count and ask participants about their perceived benefits. The goal is to control the progression of hair loss, not to provide a permanent cure that ends the need for treatment.
