Summary

This completed Phase 3 trial tested whether an oral capsule called deucrictibant could safely and quickly relieve sudden swelling attacks in people with hereditary angioedema (HAE). The study involved 134 participants aged 12 to 75 who took either the study drug or a placebo pill when an attack started. Researchers measured how fast symptoms improved and whether participants needed additional rescue medication.
