Simple reminder cards show promise for dialysis Patients' oral health
NCT ID NCT07462208
Summary
This study tested whether providing education and daily reminder cards about oral care could help patients on long-term dialysis. Researchers worked with 82 adults in Turkey who had been receiving dialysis for at least six months. After a one-week program of education and using reminder cards at home, participants showed measurable improvements in their oral health and their reported ability to adapt to living with their chronic kidney disease.
