New mouth scan could improve oral cancer diagnosis

NCT ID NCT06336941

Summary

This study is testing a new, high-frequency ultrasound scanner designed to be used inside the mouth. The goal is to see if this non-invasive scan can help doctors better visualize and measure the depth of oral cancers before surgery. Researchers hope it will provide a clearer picture to support diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma.
