Scientists test whether more surgery stops oral cancer better

NCT ID NCT07090070

Summary

This study aims to find the best treatment approach for people with early oral cancer or pre-cancerous lesions that have a specific genetic change called p53 mutation. Researchers will compare different surgery strategies across three groups of patients to see which approach best prevents the disease from getting worse. The goal is to determine whether more extensive surgery leads to better outcomes than standard approaches.
