Cancer treatment crossroads: radiation, drugs, or watchful waiting?

NCT ID NCT07457099

Summary

This study aims to determine the best follow-up approach for patients with advanced oral or throat cancer who have already received initial drug therapy and surgery. Researchers will compare three options: standard radiation therapy, ongoing immunotherapy maintenance drugs, or simply careful monitoring without additional treatment. The goal is to find which approach best controls cancer recurrence while minimizing side effects for 85 patients at a single hospital.
