New pill aims to keep leukemia away longer in chinese patients

Summary
This study tests an oral chemotherapy drug (azacitidine) as maintenance therapy for Chinese adults with acute myeloid leukemia who are already in complete remission. The goal is to see if taking this pill can help prevent the cancer from coming back longer than best supportive care alone. About 34 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo.
