Bone infection battle: common antibiotics face off in major trial
NCT ID NCT07266753
Summary
This study compares two types of oral antibiotics to see if they work equally well for treating bone infections in legs and feet. Researchers want to know if beta-lactam antibiotics (like penicillin-related drugs) perform as well as other antibiotic classes. The trial will first test if enough patients can participate, then expand to get a clear answer about which treatment approach is better.
