First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested a visual exercise called optokinetic stimulation in one person with Mal de Debarquement Syndrome (MdDS), a condition where people feel like they are still rocking after being on a boat or vehicle. The patient did head rolls while watching moving patterns on a screen. The goal was to see if this could reduce dizziness and improve daily life. Results were measured using standard dizziness and quality-of-life questionnaires.
