First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looked at how changing the way PET/CT images are taken and processed affects how accurately doctors can tell if lung cancer has spread to lymph nodes in the chest. Thirty adults with non-small cell lung cancer who were already scheduled for a standard PET/CT scan took part. The goal was to find the best scan settings to improve staging without causing harm.
