NCT ID NCT06937983

First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to find and treat the damaged heart tissue that causes a life-threatening fast heartbeat called ventricular tachycardia (VT). About 77 adults with heart disease and an implanted defibrillator will undergo a standard catheter ablation procedure, but guided by a new mapping method that looks for specific electrical signals. The goal is to see if this approach can stop VT episodes more effectively and improve patients' quality of life over 12 months.
