NCT ID NCT06937983

First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to find and treat the damaged heart areas that cause a life-threatening fast heartbeat called ventricular tachycardia (VT). Doctors will use a special mapping method to guide a procedure that destroys those problem spots. The goal is to reduce or stop VT episodes in 77 adults with heart disease who already have a defibrillator. Participants will be followed for 12 months to see if the new approach works better.
