First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests a better way to find and treat the heart areas causing dangerous rapid heartbeats (ventricular tachycardia) in people with heart disease. Doctors will use a new mapping method to guide a standard procedure called catheter ablation, which destroys the problem tissue. The goal is to reduce or stop these life-threatening episodes. About 77 adults with heart devices like pacemakers or defibrillators will take part and be followed for 12 months.
