Study tests new timing to boost egg yield for older women in IVF
NCT ID NCT06433518
Summary
This study aims to find the best follicle size for triggering ovulation in women aged 35 and older who have a low ovarian reserve and are undergoing IVF. Researchers will compare triggering when follicles are 13-16 mm versus the standard practice of waiting until they are over 17 mm. The goal is to see if the new timing leads to more mature eggs being retrieved for fertilization.
