First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests if a high-flow oxygen device can replace the usual oxygen tube placed through the nose during throat and voice box exams. About 610 adults having this procedure will be randomly assigned to either the standard method or the new one. The goal is to see if the new method prevents dangerous drops in oxygen levels and reduces side effects like bleeding or tooth damage.
