Summary
This study looks at how well new international guidelines can diagnose optic neuritis, a condition where the eye's nerve gets inflamed and causes sudden vision loss. Researchers in China will study 500 people with sudden vision loss to see if the guidelines correctly identify optic neuritis versus other eye problems. No new treatments are given; the study only checks how accurate the diagnosis is.
