Summary
This study tested a new method to manage severe pain after chest surgery for a sunken chest condition in teenagers. Researchers used a combination of targeted nerve blocks with a long-acting numbing medicine to see if they could control pain for up to 72 hours without using opioid painkillers. The goal was to find a safer, effective way to help young patients recover comfortably.
