Summary

This study tested whether using esketamine instead of opioids during lung nodule surgery could improve lung function. 84 adults having lung surgery were randomly assigned to receive either esketamine or standard opioid anesthesia. The main goal was to measure lung compliance, or how easily the lungs expand during surgery.
