Summary

This study aimed to understand how blocking opioid signals in the body affects reproductive hormones in healthy people. Researchers tested 47 adults with different genetic backgrounds, giving some participants an opioid-blocking drug called naloxone while taking frequent blood samples. The goal was to measure changes in key reproductive hormones to build basic knowledge about how our bodies regulate fertility.
