Can a computer and a coach help beat addiction?
NCT ID NCT06102200
Summary
This study tested whether adding extra support to standard medication treatment helps people with opioid addiction. It compared standard buprenorphine treatment alone to treatment plus a computer-based therapy program, and treatment plus both the computer program and a peer recovery coach. The main goal was to see if these additions helped reduce drug use and helped people stay in treatment longer.
