New wrist surgery pain plan aims to slash opioid use
NCT ID NCT05215236
Summary
This study tested a new pain management plan designed to use fewer opioid painkillers after surgery for a broken wrist. It compared this plan to the standard opioid-based approach in 72 patients. The goal was to see if the new plan could control pain just as well while reducing the risks linked to opioid medications.
