New cancer drug enters first human trials for Tough-to-Treat tumors

NCT ID NCT06816108

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new drug called ONO-7428 in people with advanced solid tumors that cannot be surgically removed or have returned after treatment. The main goal is to find the highest dose that patients can tolerate safely and understand how the drug behaves in the body. The trial is for patients whose cancer has not responded to standard therapies, including certain immunotherapy drugs they've already tried.
