Can video calls fix speech as well as office visits? new study for cleft palate kids aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07434375
Summary
This study aims to find out if online speech therapy works just as well as traditional in-person therapy for children with repaired cleft palate who have speech sound disorders. Children aged 5 to 11 will receive speech therapy twice a week for 10 weeks, either via video call or face-to-face. Researchers will compare how much the children's speech improves in both settings to see if online therapy is a good alternative.
