Virtual doctor visits tested for common skin condition
NCT ID NCT03981926
Summary
This study tested whether managing eczema through an online team of doctors works as well as traditional in-person visits. 300 patients with eczema were randomly assigned to either use the online system or continue with regular office appointments for one year. Researchers compared how well the eczema was controlled, quality of life, access to care, and costs between the two approaches.
