Can an online school program stop eating disorders before they start?
NCT ID NCT06792981
Summary
This study is testing a new online program for schools, called PRETA, designed to help prevent eating disorders and food addiction in children aged 10-13. Over 1,000 students will participate, with some schools using the 9-session online program and others continuing with regular health activities. The program teaches kids about healthy eating, body image, media literacy, and builds self-esteem and resilience, with the goal of reducing key risk factors for these serious conditions.
