Can a culturally tailored online program help latinx parents prevent teen drug and alcohol use?
NCT ID NCT07025083
Summary
This study is testing an online parenting program adapted specifically for Latinx families to help prevent substance use in middle school youth. Researchers are working with 108 Spanish-speaking Latinx families to compare a deeply adapted version of the program against a simple Spanish translation and a waitlist group. The goal is to see if culturally responsive parenting support delivered online by community health workers can improve family practices and reduce youth risk.
