Summary

This study tested whether online group therapy can help people with cybersex addiction or online sexual compulsivity. 86 participants were assigned to group therapy, individual therapy, or a waitlist. The therapy used cognitive behavioral techniques to teach coping strategies for controlling sexual impulses. Results were tracked through surveys and diaries for up to 12 months after treatment.
