First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests two internet-based treatments for adults with prolonged grief disorder, a condition where grief lasts a long time and causes distress. About 141 participants will receive either a blended treatment (online plus video sessions with a therapist), a self-guided online program with smartphone check-ins, or be placed on a waiting list. The goal is to see if these approaches reduce grief symptoms and improve well-being.
