Can a 10-Week online program ease the pain of losing a partner?

NCT ID NCT05280041

Summary

This study tested an online self-help program called SOLENA, designed to help people cope with grief after losing a partner. 80 participants who recently lost a spouse were randomly assigned to either use the program immediately or wait. The program ran for 10 weeks and aimed to reduce feelings of grief, depression, and loneliness. Researchers also tested whether letting users choose the order of program topics was more helpful than a fixed sequence.
