Dental study tests faster fix for painful tooth infections
NCT ID NCT07480226
Summary
This study tested whether a special dental procedure to treat infected tooth roots works better and causes less pain when done in one visit versus two visits. It involved 32 healthy adults with a specific type of chronic tooth infection. Researchers measured patients' pain after treatment and checked X-rays at six months and one year to see how well the bone around the root healed.
