NCT ID NCT07328737
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving three rounds of heated chemotherapy (HIPEC) after surgery is better than one round for people with pseudomyxoma peritonei, a rare abdominal cancer. About 132 adults will be randomly assigned to one or three HIPEC sessions. Researchers will track survival, side effects, and quality of life over several years to find the safest and most effective approach.
