Summary
This study is testing a single injection into the eye to see if it is safe and can slow the progression of geographic atrophy, a severe form of age-related macular degeneration that causes permanent vision loss. It will involve about 104 participants aged 60 and older who have this condition. The main goal is to check for side effects and see if the treatment can reduce the growth of the damaged area in the retina over two years, with additional follow-up for three more years.
