Yearly HIV prevention shot could replace daily pills

Summary
This study tests a new way to prevent HIV using an injection given just once a year. The drug, lenacapavir, is given as a shot into the muscle. Researchers want to see if it is safe and how well it stays in the body over 12 months. About 350 people at risk for HIV will take part.
