New combo shows promise for tough prostate cancer

Summary
This study tests a combination of two drugs (ONC-392 and a radioactive therapy) in men with advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to hormone therapy. About 148 participants will be randomly assigned to receive the combo or standard care. The goal is to see if the combo can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth, but it is not expected to be a cure.
