First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested two different approaches—osteopathic manipulative treatment (a hands-on therapy) and a home exercise program—to see which better reduces pain and improves jaw function in people with temporomandibular disorders (TMD). 50 adults with jaw pain for at least 3 months took part. Results will help guide which treatment works best for easing symptoms and improving quality of life.
