New weapon against deadly hospital pneumonia enters human testing
NCT ID NCT06087536
Summary
This study is testing a new antibiotic called OMN6 for patients with dangerous pneumonia caught in hospitals or while on ventilators. Researchers want to see if OMN6 is safe and how it moves through the body when given alongside standard antibiotics. The trial involves 54 adult patients with confirmed bacterial pneumonia and will compare OMN6 against a placebo.
