First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests a new drug called OMN6 for a serious lung infection (pneumonia) caught in the hospital or from a breathing machine. The infection is caused by a hard-to-treat bacteria. About 54 adults will get either OMN6 or a placebo, along with standard antibiotics, to see if OMN6 is safe and how the body processes it.
