First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This phase 3 trial tests whether it is safe to skip radiation to a specific neck area (Level Va) in patients with newly diagnosed nasopharyngeal cancer that has not spread. The goal is to reduce side effects while still controlling the cancer. About 474 participants will be randomly assigned to standard radiation or a reduced plan, and researchers will track cancer recurrence and survival over time.
