First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether it is safe to skip radiation to a specific neck area (Level Va) in patients with a type of throat cancer called nasopharyngeal carcinoma. About 474 newly diagnosed patients without cancer spread will be randomly assigned to standard radiation or a reduced plan. The goal is to see if the shorter treatment still controls the cancer while causing fewer side effects.
